NCR Invoice Book Printing Singapore — Custom Carbonless Receipt Books & Bill Books
We print custom NCR (No Carbon Required) invoice books, receipt books and bill books for businesses that issue multi-copy documents by hand. The paper is carbonless: write or stamp on the top sheet and the pressure transfers your writing to the plies underneath. No messy carbon paper in between, and every copy comes out the same.
If you write invoices, receipts, delivery orders, purchase orders, quotations or service reports where you and your customer each keep a copy, this is the book for it.
How NCR Books Work
Each set has 2 or 3 sheets of carbonless paper layered together. The top sheet is usually white — that’s the original for the customer. The second sheet is coloured and stays with you as the office copy. On a 3-ply set, the third sheet gives you one more copy for accounts or filing.
Ply Options
- 2-Ply × 50 sets — duplicate. The original plus one copy per transaction. Enough for plain invoices, receipts and acknowledgement slips where one copy stays with you and one goes to the customer.
- 3-Ply × 50 sets — triplicate. The original plus two copies per transaction. The extra ply usually goes to accounts, warehouse filing, or a third department that needs the same document.
Available Sizes
- A6 (105 mm × 148 mm) — compact. Good for simple receipts, parking chits, collection slips and small acknowledgement forms.
- A5 (148 mm × 210 mm) — our most popular size for invoices, receipts, delivery orders and quotations. A practical balance between writing space and portability.
- A4 (210 mm × 297 mm) — full-page. Use it for detailed invoices, purchase orders, service reports, or any form with multiple fields, tables and terms.
Print Colour
NCR books are printed in Pantone (spot colour) ink.
- 1 Pantone Colour — single-colour, and the cheapest option. Most people go with black or dark blue for a clean, businesslike look.
- 2 Pantone Colours — adds a second colour for your logo, headings or highlighted sections. Common pairings are black + red, black + blue, or black + your brand colour.
We provide a Pantone colour chart with 18 options to pick from, covering blacks, blues, purples, greens, reds, yellows and a few specialty shades.
Binding Styles
- Top Book Binding — pages flip upward from the top. The standard for landscape-oriented invoice books.
- Left Book Binding — pages flip from the left. The standard for portrait books, and the most common binding for A5 and A4 invoice books.
- Top Pad Binding — pages tear off from the top. No cover; the sets are glued at the top edge and torn off one at a time. Common for simple receipt pads and order chits.
- Left Pad Binding — pages tear off from the left. Same as top pad, just with the glue on the left edge.
Book vs Pad — what’s the difference? A book keeps every set bound together in a covered booklet that stays intact, so you always have the full book to refer back to. A pad is a tear-off format — each set comes off after use. Books suit record-keeping; pads suit quick-tear jobs like food orders and parking chits.
Running Serial Numbers
We can add running serial numbers to each set for tracking and record-keeping — handy for invoice numbering, receipt sequencing and audit trails.
