Die-Cut vs Kiss-Cut: What’s the Difference?

With die-cut stickers, both the sticker and backing paper are cut to the exact shape of your design. Each sticker is an individual piece, making them ideal for handing out at events, including in packaging, or selling as merchandise.

With kiss-cut stickers, only the top vinyl or paper layer is cut — the backing sheet remains intact. This makes kiss-cut better suited for sticker sheets or labels that need to stay organised on a roll or sheet until use.

Material & Finish

Mirrorkote is a glossy-coated paper stock widely used for stickers and labels in Singapore. Its smooth surface enhances colour vibrancy and allows for crisp text and fine detail reproduction — ideal for logos, product labels, and promotional stickers.

Choose from three finishing options to suit your application:

  • No lamination — cost-effective for indoor use such as packaging inserts and short-term promotions
  • Gloss lamination — adds a protective layer with enhanced shine, recommended for product labels and retail packaging
  • Matte lamination — a smooth, non-reflective finish that gives a premium look, great for cosmetic labels, artisanal products, and craft branding

Note: Mirrorkote is a paper-based material and is not waterproof. For outdoor or moisture-resistant applications, consider our Waterproof PP Stickers or Transparent Stickers.
