Custom-shaped foam board posters cut to any outline you need — product silhouettes, mascot cutouts, logo shapes, speech bubbles, arrows, life-size standees, and any creative shape your design calls for. Unlike standard rectangular foam boards, die-cut boards follow the contour of your artwork, creating eye-catching display pieces that stand out at events, retail spaces, and exhibitions.
Printed on high-quality sticker material, then mounted onto 5 mm white foam board and precision-cut to your custom shape. No minimum order — produce a single piece or order in bulk.
How It Works
- You provide your artwork with a die-cut line — this is the outline that shows where the board will be cut
- We print your design onto sticker material
- The printed sticker is mounted onto 5 mm white foam board
- The board is machine-cut along your die-cut line, following the exact shape of your design
The result is a rigid, lightweight display piece in the exact shape of your artwork — not a rectangle with printed content, but a shaped board that is the design.

The maximum size of 1,180 mm × 2,600 mm is large enough for life-size human standees, full-height product cutouts, and large-scale event props.
Material & Construction
- Board: 5 mm white foam board — lightweight, rigid polystyrene core
- Print: Full-colour CMYK sticker mounted onto the foam board surface
- Cut: Machine die-cut to your custom shape outline
Finishing Options
- No Lamination (Matt) — the standard sticker surface with a natural matt finish. Suitable for indoor displays and short-term use.
- Matt Lamination — a smooth matte protective film over the printed sticker. Adds durability, scuff resistance, and a professional non-reflective finish. Recommended for displays that will be handled, transported, or reused.
- Gloss Lamination — a glossy protective film for vibrant colour pop and a polished, eye-catching sheen. Ideal for retail displays and photo-heavy designs where you want maximum colour impact.
Lamination is strongly recommended for die-cut boards — the exposed edges and custom shapes are more prone to peeling and wear than standard rectangular boards. A lamination layer seals the sticker to the board and significantly extends the display’s lifespan.

Design & Artwork Requirements
- File Format: PDF or AI only (die-cut shapes require vector outlines)
- Colour Mode: CMYK
- Resolution: Minimum 300 DPI
- All text must be outlined and images embedded
- Die-cut line is mandatory — include a separate vector path in your artwork showing the exact cut outline. Use a distinct colour (e.g. magenta or a spot colour) on its own layer so we can clearly identify the cut path
- Avoid extremely intricate shapes with very thin protrusions, sharp points, or narrow sections — these may not cut cleanly or may be too fragile to hold their shape. We reserve the right to advise on design adjustments if a shape exceeds our machine cutting capability.
Tips for Strong Die-Cut Designs
- Keep the overall shape bold and simple — fine details and small notches are fragile and prone to breakage
- Leave at least 3 mm of printed artwork beyond the intended cut line (bleed) to avoid white edges
- Internal cutouts (holes within the board) are possible but add complexity — contact us first to confirm feasibility
- For life-size standees, include a wide base section for stability, or request a separate paper stand attachment
