Die-Cut Foam Board Printing Singapore — Custom Shape Foam Board Posters & Standees

We cut foam board posters to any outline your design needs — product silhouettes, mascot cutouts, logo shapes, speech bubbles, arrows, life-size standees, whatever shape the artwork calls for. A standard foam board is a rectangle with your design printed on it. A die-cut board follows the contour of your artwork instead, so the board itself becomes the shape. Good for displays at events, retail spaces, and exhibitions.

We print your design onto sticker material, mount it onto 5 mm white foam board, then cut to your shape. No minimum order — one piece or bulk, both fine.

How It Works

  1. You send artwork with a die-cut line — the outline that marks where the board gets cut
  2. We print your design onto sticker material
  3. We mount the printed sticker onto 5 mm white foam board
  4. We machine-cut the board along your die-cut line, following the exact shape of your design

What you get is a rigid, lightweight board in the exact shape of your artwork — not a rectangle with printed content, but a board that is the design.

Available Sizes

  • Minimum: 80 mm × 80 mm
  • Maximum: 1,180 mm × 2,600 mm
  • Standard A-series sizes also available: A5, A4, A3, A2, A1, A0
  • Any custom dimension within the minimum and maximum range

At the maximum 1,180 mm × 2,600 mm, you have room for life-size human standees, full-height product cutouts, and large event props.

Material & Construction

  • Board: 5 mm white foam board — a lightweight, rigid polystyrene core
  • Print: full-colour CMYK sticker mounted onto the foam board surface
  • Cut: machine die-cut to your custom shape outline

Finishing Options

  • No Lamination (Matt) — the plain sticker surface with a natural matt finish. Fine for indoor displays and short-term use.
  • Matt Lamination — a smooth matt protective film over the printed sticker. Adds durability and scuff resistance, with a non-reflective finish. We recommend this for displays that get handled, transported, or reused.
  • Gloss Lamination — a glossy protective film that pushes colour and gives a polished sheen. Suits retail displays and photo-heavy designs where you want maximum colour impact.

We strongly recommend laminating die-cut boards. The exposed edges and custom shapes peel and wear faster than a plain rectangular board. A lamination layer seals the sticker to the board and adds a lot to the display’s lifespan.

Common Uses

  • Life-size standees — full-height character cutouts, mascot displays, and celebrity standees for product launches, movie promotions, and retail activations. Set them at store entrances, event lobbies, and photo spots.
  • Product cutouts — oversized product shapes for point-of-sale displays, shelf-end promotions, and trade show booths. A shaped product cutout pulls more attention than a flat rectangular poster.
  • Logo displays — your company logo cut to shape for reception desks, event backdrops, and exhibition booths. A shaped logo board reads with more presence than a logo on a rectangular background.
  • Photo booth props — speech bubbles, frames, hashtag signs, emoji cutouts, and themed props for event photo booths, weddings, and corporate gatherings.
  • Event and wedding signage — custom-shaped welcome signs, directional arrows, name boards, and decorative pieces.
  • Retail window displays — shaped promotional pieces, seasonal decorations, and themed elements that add depth to shopfront windows.
  • Exhibition panels — uniquely shaped information boards, product silhouettes, and branded pieces that set your booth apart from standard rectangular signage.
  • Selfie frames — large frame-shaped cutouts carrying your event branding, hashtag, or sponsor logos for photo opportunities at events and activations.

Design & Artwork Requirements

  • File Format: PDF or AI only (die-cut shapes need vector outlines)
  • Colour Mode: CMYK
  • Resolution: minimum 300 DPI
  • All text outlined and images embedded
  • Die-cut line is mandatory — include a separate vector path showing the exact cut outline. Put it in a distinct colour (e.g. magenta or a spot colour) on its own layer so we can pick out the cut path clearly.
  • Avoid very intricate shapes with thin protrusions, sharp points, or narrow sections. They may not cut cleanly, or may be too fragile to hold their shape. We reserve the right to advise on adjustments if a shape goes past our machine cutting capability.

Tips for Strong Die-Cut Designs

  • Keep the overall shape bold and simple. Fine details and small notches are fragile and break easily.
  • Leave at least 3 mm of printed artwork beyond the intended cut line (bleed) so you don’t get white edges.
  • Internal cutouts (holes within the board) are possible but add complexity — check with us first to confirm it’s feasible.
  • For life-size standees, build in a wide base for stability, or ask us for a separate paper stand attachment.
