Oversized Foam Board Poster Printing Singapore

For foam boards bigger than our standard sizes. Enter your exact height and length, up to 1200 x 2400mm, and the form prices it by area. A board counts as oversized when either side goes past the standard range, so a long, narrow board works as well as a wide one.

5mm or 10mm board?

At these sizes, thickness matters more than it does on an A2 poster. A 5mm board is light and easy to carry, and works well when the board is supported along its edge, such as on an easel, against a wall or inside a frame.

A 10mm board is twice as thick and stays flatter across a large face. If the board will stand on its own, hang from a ceiling, or move between events in the back of a car, 10mm holds its shape for longer.

Single or double-sided?

Double-sided makes sense when people will see the board from both directions. Hanging boards over a walkway, free-standing dividers and boards in the middle of a booth all have two visible faces. If the board is going against a wall, single-sided is enough.

Artwork for large boards

Large prints are viewed from further away, but they’re also checked up close, so resolution still counts. Set your file at the final size, in CMYK, at a minimum of 150 DPI. Photos stretched from a phone screenshot will look soft at 2 metres.

  • Add 2mm bleed on every side so the print runs cleanly to the trimmed edge. See our guide to print bleed.
  • Keep text and logos at least 10mm in from the edge.
  • Keep total ink coverage at or below 240% so large dark areas don’t print muddy.
  • Outline fonts before you export the PDF.

Our team checks your file before it goes to print, and will contact you if something needs fixing.

Moving and storing large boards

A 1200 x 2400mm board won’t fit in most car boots, and it won’t go up a narrow staircase without bending. Measure your vehicle and the venue entrance before you order. Store boards flat or standing on their long edge, away from direct sunlight and damp. Foam board dents if it’s pressed against a corner, so keep the printed face away from walls when stacking.
