Description
NCR Invoice Book Printing Singapore — Custom Carbonless Receipt Books & Bill Books
Custom-printed NCR (No Carbon Required) invoice books, receipt books, and bill books for businesses that need multi-copy documentation. NCR books use specialised carbonless paper that transfers your writing from the top sheet to the copies beneath — no messy carbon paper needed. Simply write on the top copy and all subsequent plies are duplicated instantly.
Essential for businesses that issue handwritten invoices, receipts, delivery orders, purchase orders, quotations, and service reports where both you and your customer need a copy of the same document.
How NCR Books Work
Each set in the book contains 2 or 3 sheets of carbonless paper layered together. When you write or stamp on the top sheet, the pressure transfers the ink through to the sheets below, creating identical copies. The top sheet is typically white (original for the customer), the second sheet is coloured (your office copy), and the third sheet (in 3-ply) provides an additional copy for accounting or filing.
Ply Options
- 2-Ply × 50 sets — duplicate copy. You get the original and one carbon copy per transaction. Suitable for simple invoices, receipts, and acknowledgement slips where one copy for you and one for the customer is sufficient.
- 3-Ply × 50 sets — triplicate copy. You get the original and two carbon copies per transaction. The extra copy is commonly used for accounting records, warehouse filing, or a third department that needs the same document.
Available Sizes
- A6 (105 mm × 148 mm) — compact size for simple receipts, parking chits, collection slips, and small-format acknowledgement forms.
- A5 (148 mm × 210 mm) — the most popular size for invoices, receipts, delivery orders, and quotations. A practical balance between space and portability.
- A4 (210 mm × 297 mm) — full-page format for detailed invoices, purchase orders, service reports, and forms with multiple fields, tables, or terms and conditions.
Print Colour
NCR books are printed using Pantone (spot colour) ink:
- 1 Pantone Colour — single-colour printing. The most common and economical option. Typically printed in black or dark blue for a clean, professional look.
- 2 Pantone Colours — two-colour printing. Allows you to add a second colour for your company logo, headings, or highlighted sections. Common combinations include black + red, black + blue, or black + your brand colour.
We provide a Pantone colour chart with 18 colour options to choose from, including blacks, blues, purples, greens, reds, yellows, and specialty shades.
Binding Styles
- Top Book Binding — pages flip upward from the top. The standard format for landscape-oriented invoice books.
- Left Book Binding — pages flip from the left side. The standard format for portrait-oriented invoice books. The most common binding for A5 and A4 invoice books.
- Top Pad Binding — pages tear off from the top. No book cover — individual sets are glued together at the top edge and torn off one at a time. Commonly used for simple receipt pads and order chits.
- Left Pad Binding — pages tear off from the left side. Same as pad binding but with the glue on the left edge.
Book vs Pad — what’s the difference? Book binding keeps all sets bound together in a covered booklet that stays intact. Pad binding is a tear-off format where each set is removed from the pad after use. Books are better for record-keeping (you always have the full book as a reference), while pads are better for quick-tear transactions like food orders and parking chits.
Running Serial Numbers
Optional running serial numbers can be added to each set for tracking and record-keeping. Useful for invoice numbering, receipt sequencing, and audit trails.

- Numerals only (no letters or prefixes)
