Plastic L-Shape Folder Printing Singapore — Custom A4 Clear Folder
We print custom A4 plastic L-shape folders for corporate branding, events, marketing and document organisation. The L-shape folder is one of the most-used pieces of corporate stationery in Singapore. It’s lightweight, waterproof and reusable, so it protects documents while keeping your brand in front of people on desks and in bags long after it’s handed out.
Our folders are UV offset printed on 0.2 mm polypropylene (PP) plastic. We seal the bottom edge using ultrasonic wave pressing, which gives a clean finish with no adhesive residue.
What Is an L-Shape Folder?
It’s a flat, sleeve-style document holder sealed along two edges — the bottom and one side — forming an “L”. The top and opposite side stay open, so A4 documents slide in and out easily. The clear PP lets you see what’s inside at a glance while shielding it from moisture, dirt and creasing.

White Ink & Colour Options
Printing on clear plastic works differently from paper. Because the folder is see-through, the white ink layer behind your design decides how opaque or transparent it looks. You have three options:
- CMYK Only (No White Backing) — colours print straight onto the clear PP with no white layer behind them. Your design comes out translucent, so the contents inside show through. Good for subtle, watermark-style branding, or for designs that use transparency on purpose.
- CMYK + Spot White Backing — white ink prints behind selected areas only. You can make certain elements solid and opaque — your logo or text, say — while keeping the rest of the folder transparent. This is the most popular choice. It balances branding against the see-through function of a clear folder.
- CMYK + Full White Backing — a solid white layer prints behind your whole design, making every colour fully opaque and bright. The printed areas won’t be see-through any more. Best for photos, detailed graphics, or whenever you want maximum colour impact, much like printing on white paper.
The white ink option is the single biggest design decision for plastic folders. It changes the final look completely. Not sure which to pick? We’d suggest spot white backing — it gives the best balance of branding and function.
Print Method
UV offset printing in full colour (CMYK). UV ink cures instantly under ultraviolet light, so the print holds up to daily handling without scratching, smudging or fading.

- Resolution: Minimum 300 DPI
- For AI files: outline all text and embed all images
- If using Spot or Full White Backing: send a separate artwork layer marking which areas need white ink
