Description
Long Brochure Printing Singapore — Multi-Panel Folded Brochures (3-Panel & 4-Panel A4)
These are the longer brochures — 6 to 8 panels of printable area, for when a standard tri-fold runs out of room. Product catalogues, service overviews, media kits, event programmes, marketing campaigns. The brochure unfolds into one long layout, so you can lay out a full product range or a step-by-step process in a single piece.
We offset print these double-sided in full colour, then machine-crease and fold them to your chosen configuration. Two sizes, several fold types, a list of paper stocks, and finishing options below.
Available Sizes
- 3 × A4 (297 mm × 630 mm) — three A4 panels in a row. Unfolds to 6 printable panels (3 front, 3 back). Suits detailed service brochures, product ranges, restaurant menus, and corporate profiles that need more room than an A4-to-DL tri-fold.
- 4 × A4 (297 mm × 840 mm) — four A4 panels in a row. Unfolds to 8 printable panels (4 front, 4 back). The largest brochure format we print. Good for comprehensive product catalogues, timeline displays, campus or facility maps, exhibition guides, and brochures split into several distinct sections.
Fold Types
- Letter Fold (C-Fold) — panels fold inward one on top of the other. A compact, layered format that opens panel by panel. The fold most people recognise.
- Roll Fold — like a letter fold, but each panel wraps around the next in a rolling sequence. Handy for multi-step guides where you want the reader to uncover information in order.
- Accordion Fold (Z-Fold) — 2, 3, or 4 panels — panels fold in alternating directions, zigzag style. Every panel is reachable the moment you part-open it. Works for timelines, process flows, comparison layouts, and maps you want scanned quickly.
- Gate Fold — the two outer panels fold inward to meet in the centre, like opening a pair of gates. Gives you a reveal on opening. Popular for product launches, invitations, and visual-heavy brochures where the centrespread is the hero.
- Accordion + Half Fold — a hybrid: a zigzag accordion finished with a half fold. The closed size comes out smaller while the full multi-panel layout still opens out. Useful when a brochure has many panels but still needs to fit a standard envelope or rack.
Not sure which fold suits your content? Rough rule: sequential content (step 1, step 2, step 3) reads best as a roll fold or accordion. Want an opening reveal? Go gate fold. Need something compact and familiar? Letter fold.
Paper Stock Options
Lightweight (for mass distribution and mailers):
- 128 GSM Gloss Art Paper — coated paper with a glossy sheen. Light, with strong colour reproduction, for brochures going out in volume.
- 128 GSM Matt Art Paper — coated paper with a smooth matte surface. Same weight as the gloss, softer and non-reflective.
Medium weight (most popular):
- 157 GSM Gloss Art Paper — a mid-weight coated paper with strong colour. Feels more substantial than 128 GSM and is what most people pick for marketing brochures.
- 157 GSM Matt Art Paper — mid-weight, matte finish. Professional and easy to read, especially for text-heavy brochures.
Heavyweight (for thicker brochures):
- 260 GSM Gloss Art Card — thick card with a glossy finish. Rigid and substantial. Best for product catalogues, menus, and brochures that get handled a lot.
- 260 GSM Matt Art Card — thick card, matte finish. Elegant and tactile, good for corporate profiles, luxury brand brochures, and high-end marketing material.
Finishing Options
Finishing treatments to add durability and feel:
Lamination:
- Gloss Lamination (1-side or 2-side) — reflective protective film with strong colour
- Matt Lamination (1-side or 2-side) — smooth, non-reflective protective film
- Soft Touch Lamination (1-side or 2-side) — velvety, suede-like texture for a tactile feel
UV Varnish:
- UV Varnish (1-side or 2-side) — a clear protective coating with a subtle sheen
Combination Finishes:
- Lamination + Spot UV — a matte or gloss lamination base with selective glossy UV picked out on logos, headings, or design elements. Gives a contrast you can both see and feel.
We recommend finishing on the 260 GSM art card, and on any brochure that’ll be handled repeatedly. Menus, catalogues, and point-of-sale pieces hold up far better with the added protection.
Common Uses
- Product catalogues and lookbooks — your full range laid out across the panels
- Restaurant and café menus — the whole menu opens out in one piece
- Corporate profiles and media kits — company story, services, team, achievements
- Event programmes and exhibition guides — maps, schedules, sponsor info on one handout
- Tourism and travel brochures — itineraries, destination highlights, maps
- Property and real estate — development overviews, floor plans, facility maps across the panels
- Step-by-step guides and instructional material — processes, tutorials, how-to content
Artwork Requirements
- File Format: PDF, AI, PSD, JPG, PNG
- Colour Mode: CMYK
- Resolution: minimum 300 DPI
- Bleed: 3 mm on all sides
- For AI files: outline all text and embed all images
- Submit artwork at the full open (unfolded) size with fold lines clearly marked
- Keep critical text and images at least 5 mm clear of fold lines — content sitting on a fold can crack or distort
- For roll folds and letter folds: the innermost panel needs to be slightly narrower (about 2 mm less) than the outer panels so it folds in cleanly without buckling
