Foldable Business Card Printing / Folded Name Card Printing Singapore
A foldable business card gives you twice the printable space of a standard name card. Use the extra panels for a services list, appointment info, QR codes, a mini menu, promotional offers, terms and conditions, or a location map — handy when one flat card just doesn’t fit everything.
We offset print these on quality card stock, then add a precision machine crease so the fold is clean and sits straight. Two fold orientations are available, so you can pick the one that suits your layout.
Fold Types
- Type A (Fat Fold) — folds along the shorter edge. Open size up to 90 mm × 108 mm; closed, it fits a standard card holder. Suits landscape designs.
- Type B (Thin Fold) — folds along the longer edge. Open size up to 180 mm × 54 mm; closed, it’s the same as a regular name card. Suits portrait or panoramic layouts.
Card Size
- Open Size: the full unfolded dimension of your card
- Closed Size: the folded dimension, sized to fit standard name card holders and wallets
- Type A: 40–90 mm (length) × 40–108 mm (width)
- Type B: 40–180 mm (length) × 40–54 mm (width)
- Most common closed size: 90 mm × 54 mm (standard Singapore name card size)
Card Stock Options
Non-Laminated:
- 260 GSM Art Card — coated stock with a slight sheen. A versatile pick for full-colour foldable cards.
- 230 GSM Ivory Card — smooth, uncoated natural white. You can write on it, so it’s good for appointment cards or anywhere clients need to jot notes.
Laminated:
- 157 GSM Matt Laminated — a lightweight laminated stock that works for inserts or thinner foldable cards.
- 260 GSM Matt Laminated — matte finish with protective lamination. Resists fingerprints and looks professional.
- 310 GSM Matt Laminated — a heavier weight with a solid matte feel. Our most popular foldable card.
Specialty:
- Spot UV on Matt Laminated (260 GSM / 310 GSM) — selective gloss highlights over a matte base, giving a tactile contrast on logos, text, or other design elements. Available on one side or both. Needs a separate artwork layer to mark the UV areas.
Finishing Options
- Single-sided or double-sided printing (inside and outside panels)
- Round corners, selectable on all four corners
- Crease line included for a clean, precise fold
Print Method
Offset lithographic printing (CMYK). Offset keeps the colour consistent across every card in your order, which matters for brand colours, gradients, and full-bleed artwork that runs across the fold.
Artwork Requirements
- File Format: PDF, AI, PSD, JPG, PNG
- Colour Mode: CMYK
- Resolution: minimum 300 DPI
- Bleed: 3 mm on all sides
- Keep important text and logos at least 5 mm clear of the crease line, so nothing important sits on the fold
- For AI files: outline all text and embed images
- For Spot UV: include a separate black artwork layer marking the UV areas
- Submit artwork at the full open (unfolded) size
