Orders start at 5 pieces and go up to 500 per order line, so the same page works for a team of ten or a company event of three hundred. Pick a fabric and model, choose the colour, set your print positions, then enter how many you need in each size. The price updates as you go.

Why DTF suits small runs

DTF stands for direct to film. Your design is printed onto a film and then heat-pressed onto the shirt. There is no screen to make for each colour, so a 12-colour illustration costs the same as a one-colour logo, and 5 shirts are practical to order. That is the main reason we use it for team tees, class shirts, event crews and small brand drops.

Choose a fabric

• Microfiber Mini Eyelet 150gsm: a light knit with small eyelet holes that dries quickly. This is the fabric to pick for running events, sports teams and anything worn in the heat. It is also the only fabric offered as a long-sleeve polo and a kids polo.
• CVC Honeycomb 180gsm: 60% cotton and 40% polyester with a honeycomb texture. A softer polo than the microfiber one, offered in short sleeve.
• Siro Cotton 190gsm: 100% combed cotton, the heaviest of the three. A plain everyday tee that suits office wear, schools and giveaways. Available as a round neck in short or long sleeve, and in kids size.

Each order line uses one fabric. Shirt colour does not change the price.

Models and colours

• Microfiber: round neck tee (short or long sleeve), polo (short or long sleeve), kids round neck tee (short or long sleeve) and kids polo (short sleeve)
• CVC Honeycomb: polo, short sleeve
• Siro Cotton: round neck tee (short or long sleeve) and kids round neck tee (short sleeve)

The colour list depends on the model. The microfiber round neck tee has the most, with 22 colours including five neon shades. Siro Cotton has 18 for the short sleeve tee. The long-sleeve polo has 9. You pick from the exact list on the order form after you choose your model.

Where your artwork has an area that matches the shirt colour, that area is left unprinted. A white logo on a white shirt will not show, so check your design against the colour you pick.

Print sizes and positions

Each shirt can carry up to four prints, one per position. Every print is priced by its size, so a small chest logo and a large back print are charged separately.

There is no separate left chest option. For a chest logo, choose Front with 3 x 3in or 5 x 5in. An A3 print is 11.7in wide, which is most of the chest on a size S shirt (19in across), so check the size chart below before you commit to A3 on smaller sizes.

How to order

1. Choose a fabric and model.
2. Choose the shirt colour.
3. Choose a print size for each position you want. Leave the rest on None.
4. Enter the quantity for each size.
5. Upload your artwork PDF, or paste a download link.
6. Add to cart and check out.

Need a different model or colour in the same order? Add each one to the cart as its own line. Each line is priced on its own quantity, so 5 shirts in one colour and 5 in another are priced as two lines of 5.

Artwork guide

Upload one PDF per order line. Page 1 is a placement mock-up: the shirt, where each print goes and how big it is. After that, give each print position its own page with the artwork at final size.

• Use vector artwork, or images at 300dpi at the printed size
• Minimum text size is 10pt
• Minimum line thickness is 1pt, since thinner lines can break up when pressed
• Keep total ink coverage at or under 240%
• Leave a transparent background where the shirt should show through

A single artwork file covers the order. If you are ordering several lines, upload the same PDF on each one.

Size charts

Measurements are in inches and are taken flat. Chest is measured across the shirt, so double it for the round measurement.

Turnaround

10 to 12 working days from artwork confirmation. This product has no express option. Weekends and public holidays are not counted, and our lead time guide explains how the days are worked out. If you have an event date, count back at least three weeks to leave room for any artwork changes. Collect from us at Ubi or choose delivery at checkout.

Silkscreen or DTF?

Both print on the same shirts. The choice comes down to quantity and artwork.

Silkscreen gets cheaper per piece as quantity and print size grow. For large one or two colour prints at 20 pieces or more, check our silkscreen printing, which also offers emboss and velvet finishes. For small prints or designs with several colours, DTF is often the cheaper option.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order?

5 pieces per order line. The maximum is 500 pieces per line.

Can I mix sizes?

Yes. Enter a quantity for each size on the same line, from 2XS to 7XL, or from 22 to 32 for kids. For a different model or colour, add a new line.

Can I print on a dark shirt?

Yes. DTF prints full colour on light and dark shirts. Only the parts of your artwork that match the shirt colour are left unprinted.

Can I get the order faster?

No. This product runs on 10 to 12 working days and has no express option. For a faster turnaround on other items, see our custom stickers and button badges.

How should I wash a printed shirt?

Turn it inside out and wash it in cold water. Avoid high heat in the dryer and do not iron directly on the print.

Can kids shirts have a big print?

Kids shirts take 7 x 7in as the largest front and back print. Sleeves are 3 x 3in only.
